So I found this post today:
As odd as it may sound at first, it somehow clicks with me. When I feel "pissed off" by somebody, it may happen that I get an "energy kick" at the same time, trying to convert the anger into something productive. Or into the power to manifest some changes in my life.
How do you feel about that? Does anger also give you more energy sometimes?

"Time has come" Lyric Video online!
Hello!
I have just uploaded a lyric video to my completely re-written and re-recorded version of my song "Time has come":
This song is part of my new lbum "Winter Eyes" =) Lyricwise, it deals with mobbing and hassling and how these things can damage your soul and bury your self-esteem...

7 Quotes to remember when you are surrounded by negativity
"We hear it time and time again, “stop caring about what other people think.” Well, most people agree that’s a lot easier said than done."
Now, these are true words...I've found a great article on this subject that I want to share with you. I for myself will especially keep the "7 quotes" in mind :)

Festival season, reviews, heat...
Almost 2 months since my last post? Wow, time goes by...
Well, what did go on during the last weeks? Austria had the "joy" of an extended and extreme heat period. Fun for some, torture for other. I belong to the second group (warm weather is fine, but heat somehow destroys my inner batteries). Especially since I'm living "under the roof". You what they are saying? There are people who love the hot weather. And then there are people living on the top floor.
So, how to survive during the heat?? Besides spontaneously loving to get to work (because of air condition ;) - festivals!! I have attended quite a few wonderful gigs and I'll give you a detailed report in a later post. Mild evening, full moon, Judas Priest live on stage and a (festival-like) warm beer in my hand...yes, this is how to get through summertime ;)
Aaand...here is another wonderful review of my album WINTER EYES, this time from hardrockhaven! Check it out!

Ravenheart Music reviews "Winter Eyes"
It's again review-time!
Thanks a lot to Dave from Ravenheart Music for reviewing my album!
Some excerpts:
"...Well, putting her legal work to one side, the time has come for her new release, and what a whoppa it is too. Featuring 10 tracks, some of which are re recorded versions from her debut, this record also features brilliant lead guitarist John Slater, John playing lead solo on some of the songs here....The album is consistent, and like Phil had mentioned when he reviewed Sonja's debut back in March 2012, the track 'Victim of a Miracle', re worked for this album is hideously catchy, and will have you bouncing around your living room before you can actually say "Sonja Perenda"! And the closing title track is a 10 minute plus epic with a bluesy vibe and some awesome guitar work - totally magical, yay! This release is well recommended..."

Beach Sloth reviews "Winter Eyes"
Hey my friends!
I'm proud to share this first album review by Beach Sloth with you! It surely made my day =)
Just an excerpt:
".......Sonja Perenda’s “Winter Eyes” benefits immensely from Sonja Perenda’s operatic training. From on high her voice colors the album with blue hues.....As the album unfolds Sonja Perenda’s voice guides through the webs of guitars, the propulsive rhythms, and touches of distortion. Throughout it all Sonja Perenda possesses and executes her ideas with stunning clarity....“Winter Eyes” wins with its deadened hard gaze. This is the perfect marriage of classical and metal".

Sonja Perenda signs to Two Side Moon Promotions
Heya!
I'm proud to announce that I have recently signed with Two Side Moon Promotions for promoting my new Album within the UK. I have been in touch with the founder Nicky Baldrian for some years now and he also did an amazing job promoting my previous album, so it is a big pleasure for me to work with his agency again.
Cheers to another great collaboration Nicky! =)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Hey everybody!
I hope you all enjoyed your New Year celebrations all over the world. I took it smoothly and spent the evening with friends and family at home, with good sparkling wine and rock music =)
So, what are your plans and ideas for 2015? for me, the year will hold the release of "Winter Eyes". The release sadly had slight delays because of personal reasons (yes, 2014 was partly a difficult year).
But now, the album is finished, only things missing are some photo shoots and an album artwork! This should be finished soon enough and I can't wait to present you all what me and my team have been working on during 2014!!
So for now, let's cure our hangovers and enjoy life ;)
